Customer Reviews

Midtown Yoga is awesome! I like how many different classes the studio has, which makes it perfect for even those with the busiest schedules. I love how all of the teachers deliver the “Midtown Yoga experience” while being so unique as instructors. It makes going to classes feel familiar and comforting, while also exciting and engaging! The community is also one of a kind. I felt intimidated during my first class there and was immediately put at ease by the friendly and inviting atmosphere.

I’ve been part of this yoga community since moving to Raleigh two years ago, and it has truly been one of the most meaningful parts of my life here. The atmosphere is always so uplifting and positive—no matter what kind of day I’m having, I leave class feeling stronger, lighter, and more grounded. Over time, I’ve come to know many of the instructors, and every single one of them is kind, encouraging, and dedicated to creating an inclusive space. You can really tell they care about their students, both on and off the mat. I’ve loved exploring the variety of classes the studio offers, but MY Strength has become one of my favorites. It’s a great blend of movement, mindfulness, and challenge, and always leaves me feeling energized. I’m so grateful to have found this studio and community. Whether you’re new to yoga or looking for something that challenges you both mentally and physically, this is the place.

I highly recommend Midtown Yoga! I took my first ever yoga class at Midtown with Sam and did the monthly pre/postnatal class. This is my second pregnancy and I’ve been trying to find ways to stretch and be more mindful about taking care of my growing body. I signed up for the class not knowing what to expect and it was really better than I could have imagined. It was not strenuous at all but there was a focus on relaxation and stretching and that’s exactly what I needed. There was a point during the class that I found myself tearing up because it felt so good to just relax and take an hour for myself. It was a very healing experience and Sam did a great job making everyone feel like they were exactly where they belong. I wish this was a 6 week series or weekly series because I’d be there every week. I did sign up for another local prenatal yoga class and it didn’t even come close to the one Midtown offers. I was 1,000% recommend and hopefully will be able to enjoy a hot yoga class after I have this baby.
