While sometimes the service there can be a bit crazy, I enjoy the practice. The waiting room is usually fairly quiet with a little bit of music sometimes. I've only really met with one therapist, Tova Fox, who is just wonderful. She is very patient and willing to listen. She does get a lot of patients though so it can be a bit difficult to get an appointment with her. I still recommend the place for it's kindness.

I experienced difficulty in scheduling due to their intake procedure (you have to call initially to request services, then wait for a call just to schedule a time for another call, then wait for that call to be assessed and placed with a counselor and then you have to wait to be contacted by the counselor to be scheduled so it's over 3-4 phone calls minimum before you even get to your first appointment). I played phone tag for weeks just trying to schedule the intake assessment. I had pretty much given up on the idea when we finally connected. That process alone can be a roadblock for someone already struggling with their mental health esp. someone who hates phone calls! Since then, I've only had good experiences with the counselors (and receptionist and clinical director) and have found it to be a helpful, validating, and worthwhile experience. They ask about your pronouns, which is nice, and are respectful and understanding. I wish it wasn't so hard to get started, but it was worth the effort in the end. Don't give up!

I had to sue this so-called non-profit to get my medical records. They had no records on me after billing thousands of dollars for services. They do not pay their therapists, which I found out during the legal process. That's why they don't list names on their website. The website was updated during the request discovery in the legal matter. The owners are a couple, but they work and act as if they are not. They act like they care, but they are only interested in your money. If you need something other than what they can charge you money for, God help you. They went so far as to cash checks for Social Security without providing them with the necessary medical records.
