Today was not my first visit, so it’s high time I leave a review. Firstly, every experience has been helpful, personalized, and lovely. The shop itself is gorgeous. An impeccably curated collection of things you might need or want if you’re into the craft.(Also, if you’re not so much. All are welcome.) I needed advice on a ritual for something personal and left with exactly what I needed. Will absolutely be back. 🖤

This was such a beautiful shop. I am visiting Salem from Long Island, NY and my boyfriend and I stopped in after I was shown the shop on Instagram. The shop 100% is as incredible in person… I can’t say enough how helpful Summer was. I loved it here, and I’m looking forward to another visit Back in 2025 and this is still one of my absolute favorite spaces to come to. I feel so at home here

Absolutely delightful shop filled with high quality wares. Out of all the shops I visited in the area during my short trip, by far Spiritus Arcanum was the most well-informed and respectful about herbal knowledge and spiritual practices. There's a variety of apothecary ingredients, tools, crystals, house-made oils and tinctures, and delightful books available for anyone practicing herbalism, ritual, or just looking for some interesting items or reading material for their home. I was in the Salem area for a college field trip, and we visited Matthew's shop and had the privelege of participating in a workshop with him. Matthew was a joy to learn from and talk to, and the shop is worth a detour, if not a dedicated trip, to check out and explore.
