Been shopping here for a while (come for the fun Bigfoot themed merch, stay for the warm and friendly staff and those amazing candles!). Owner and staff are always wonderful, store has great rotation of products, and the candles (which they pour on site) truly are the best! Whenever I have visitors in town this is one of our first stops and I have yet to see anyone not fall in love with the candles (or find something else there that they get excited about).

I'm really impressed with this company. I ordered on a special intuitive mystery box and once received there was some confusion on my part but Spill The Tea Sis took every measure to make sure I was understanding and satisfied. They were also prompt about it. Both of these qualities are hard to find nowadays but they really nailed it! They have beautiful pieces and are willing to communicate for any reason. I was visiting from Arizona and stopped into Spill the Tea Sis on May 8th with my mentee during a whirlwind college visit to Smith—and WOW, we absolutely loved this store! From the moment we walked in, we were surrounded by the most amazing scents, adorable pins, cozy teas, journals, candles, and all kinds of thoughtful, fun gifts. It's truly one of those places where you want to buy something for everyone and yourself. What made our experience even more special was the incredible staff, especially Devon. She was so welcoming, helpful, and genuinely kind. Devon answered our questions, gave us great local tips (including recommending Smith's greenhouse—so worth the visit!), and shared insight about recent pride events in the area. The connection they made with us was real and meaningful. My mentee has been going through a tough time, and Devon’s warm presence and care felt like a little moment of magic. It wasn’t just customer service—it was compassion. It's like Devon knew we needed a little extra sprinkling of loving-kindness. That moment reflected not only the heart of this beautiful store but also the spirit of Northampton itself. And here’s the cherry on top: my mentee decided to choose Smith College as her school!
