Customer Reviews

My partner and I took the one-day Holistic Childbirth Essentials class yesterday and we had a great experience. Kristie is a phenomenal childbirth educator and her training as a teacher really shows! We both learned a lot in the class and were sent home with even more materials for additional reading. I felt the class was a good mix of direct instruction, videos, Q&As, and hands-on technique. Totally clear to me why The Womb Room is so highly recommended across Baltimore (and even the whole state of Maryland since we were the only couple at yesterday's class who live locally!) If you live further away, but you're considering a class or event at The Womb Room, it's definitely worth the drive.

The Womb Room is an absolute sanctuary for parents-to-be and parents alike. I was introduced to the Womb Room through their childbirth class. I walked in unsure of the road ahead and walked out feeling confident and prepared for anything that birth threw my way. I also attended their prenatal yoga classes. They were a great opportunity to connect with other people going through pregnancy, be heard, breathe, and take time for myself. Now that I’m postpartum, I’ve been enjoying their baby and me and pilates offerings “on the other side” of birth. All in all, I’ve found the community at the Womb Room to be incredibly generous and accepting. I’d highly recommend the Womb Room!

I took prenatal yoga classes here during my pregnancy, and they were exactly what I needed at the time — low pressure, calming, and a good way to slow down and connect with my body. The instructor was supportive and the environment was relaxed and welcoming. I stopped going toward the end of my pregnancy because life got hectic, but now that I’m starting to get into a routine as a new mom, I plan to come back for the postnatal and mommy & me classes. It feels like a good place to ease back in, both physically and mentally.
