I am *in love* with this place! I live in Carter County, I'm new here, and I have been searching for a shop like this for months and months. I met one of the owners while I was there yesterday, and my goodness she was the sweetest soul. I got so many herbs for my teas, and a great new book for my collection, as well as one of her handmade soaps to try because the scent alone was just too good not to take home! The prices were amazing - affordable and reasonable in every way. Customer service couldn't be beat. Just in the short time I was in, I met several repeat customers who recommended all kinds of her products. You'd think she paid them to advertise for how highly they spoke of the products and the owners. But when the one lady bought a *case* of her soaps, I knew she wasn't just talking! I'll be back here often and look forward to taking classes here and meeting the other owner! Thanks so much for the wonderful experience ❤️

Appalachian root works has such a wonderful atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with the wonderful smell of incense and warm, welcoming faces. Such attentiveness to customers and their need. Everything is so unique and beautiful I could spend hours. I feel like every time I look again I see some thing I didn’t see before. I highly highly recommend this shop. The people are wonderful. And I have seen many pieces in this shop that I’ve never seen anywhere else. Charming and peaceful I would never go anywhere else. ✨❤️
