I can't recommend Dr. Chen enough! I first saw her about three years ago and had an amazing experience, so when I recently received concerning lab results, I knew I had to go back to her. She is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely cares about her patients' well-being. From the moment I walked into her office, I felt heard and supported. Within just a month—and after only two acupuncture treatments combined with the herbs she recommended—I was feeling significantly better. My bloating disappeared completely, and when I repeated my labs, many of my markers were back to normal. Let’s begin with my trying to conceive journey, I incorporated acupuncture right away after receiving advice from some of my closest friends on the positive effects of it while trying to conceive. Needless to say I am so lucky and blessed to have found this practice. Dr. Chen is an expert in the field, knowledgeable in all of her ways and key in our pregnancy. After trying for a month, following her recommendations and receiving acupuncture we were able to safely conceive our first baby. I don’t imagine trying to conceive any other way, and going through my first trimester without her. Despite all the stress that comes with trying and all of the symptoms of early pregnancy I always looked forward to seeing her. She was a safe space for me, where I was able to unwind and welcome peace. I never felt rushed during my visit or experiences any trouble when needing to reschedule an appointment. Her and her team were always kind and accommodating (these are the little things that make a difference, specially in such a fast paced life!). I always looked forward to sharing with her my little milestones, and found in her not only a doctor, but someone that truly cared. We paused treatment shortly after my first trimester, and although I missed my acupuncture sessions and visits with her, I knew I would be back closer to the end (and this made me very happy!) As a first time mom, inexperienced, and with a million questions I truly believe TCM made this journey better. I recently passed my second round of glucose test (thanks to Dr. Chen!) who again played a key role in this. As I enter my third trimester, I couldn’t be more grateful and at peace knowing she has got my back. I am excited for what’s to come, with peace of mind as I have only a few more months to go. So, Dr. Chen and team a million thank you’s will never cut it. I will always be forever grateful for your expertise and care. I was referred to Dr. Chen after years of dealing with cystic acne and having tried every topical cream, scrub, and pill on the market (including Accutane). After only a handful of treatments from Dr. Chen, my skin was noticeably less inflamed and much softer. 3 months in and my skin no longer actively breaks out. Dr. Chen truly is a master of her craft.
