Alan was suggested to me by my dentist since I had continuous hip pain and had tried physical therapy, acupuncture and chiropractic care and nothing seemed to be helping. Alan was very kind and personable when scheduling my appointment and the first appointment it was not what I expected, but makes sense if you are not familiar with shiatsu (Anma) massage therapy. You keep your clothes on and it’s deep tissue with the area of pain and my discomfort went away of the area that was a nagging pain. I did go a total of three times which was worth it since that part of the discomfort went away. I eventually got x-rays and an MRI and my doctor suggested to meet with an orthopedic surgeon and come to find out I needed a hip replacement which I had a few days ago and feel thankful for a solution. Alan did tell me how many times he hears of people with pain from headaches and carpel tunnel and other symptoms if they’d just go see him there is a big possibility they wouldn’t need to have the surgery and I would definitely seek him out before a procedure like this and a hip replacement as well. He did help with some of the pain I was experiencing. He is a very good person and he makes you feel very comfortable, so easy to connect with. I highly recommend you give him a call.

If I could give Alan 10 stars, I would. I was dealing with a bad lower back injury I suffered from a car accident in January 2024, it is now February 2025. I've tried going to a chiropractor, physical therapy, hand massages, etc and nothing gave me long term relief. I was hopeless at a point thinking I would never fully recover from my injury and my mom recommended me to Alan saying he may be able to help me. Within the first 5 minutes of our first session, he pinpointed the muscle that was bothering me for over a year and instantly knew how to get it to release. I have just completed my 4th session with him and mind you I just started earlier this month, my back almost feels back to normal at 100%. I will now recommend my friends, family, and colleagues to try Alan out as he is truly a miracle worker. I have been treated by Alan for 25+ years. He was highly recommended to me and I have never been disappointed with any of my treatments. His hands are magic, able to immediately sense where I am having pain and about an hour later the pain is considerably less and I often walk out of is office without any pain! I have recommended Alan to many of my family and friends and they are all in agreement he is amazing! If you have not had a Shiatsu treatment, it is NOT painful, at least not with Alan. He’s kind with a passionate heart and I’ve had great conversations during each and every treatment. The time goes quickly during the one to one and half hour treatments and I always feel 100% better after my time with Alan!
